This year's Regional Flavours event at South Bank is shaping up to be fabulous combination of food pleasures including 100 food stalls, Queensland wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, sustainable gardening practices and cooking competitions with an extended two-day program over Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July.
There's a great line up of chefs including Ben O’Donoghue,
Dominique Rizzo, Junior MasterChef 2010 Twins Isabella and Sofia and
former MasterChef Contestants who will conduct cooking demonstrations, showcasing Queensland
The offerings include a hands-on sustainable garden
complete with chickens, recyclable seating, compost bins, edible plants
and Q&A sessions with television personality and horticulturalist
Jody Rigby and Gardening Australia’s Jerry Coleby-Williams; as well as
wine and beer appreciation sessions and a design exhibition featuring
installations on sustainability.

3.00pm – 3.30pm Cooking Demonstration by twins Isabella and Sofia – Junior Masterchef 2010 Finalists Appreciation Sessions - gotta give it to these kids who make many adults look ham-fisted in the kitchen.
Sample some of Queensland’s best local brew and enjoy an entertaining
and educational look into the world of boutique beer, presented by Matt
Kirkegaard, Good Beer Lunches. Entry is free however places are limited and subject to availability. Must be over 18 years.
