I am sooooo excited!
The Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show will kick off on Friday 5 November with the ultimate challenge for all Masterchefs: to be named the Celebrity Cupcake Master(chef) in the inaugural Celebrity Chef Cupcake Decorating Competition. AND, I'm one of the judges!
Three of Australia’s toughest and most competitive chefs will be facing off in their toughest task to date: Matt Moran, a TV regular and owner of ARIA restaurant in Brisbane and Sydney, and Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris from Network Ten’s MasterChef Australia.

Gary has pulled out (sad) but his replacement is.... wait for it.... Manu Feidel with his oh-so-smooth French accent. (I know you hate me girls. :)
BACK TO THE STORY
Held in the Sunbeam Academy, a new attraction to the Show where attendees can make, bake and decorate delicious cupcakes, the Masterchefs will have 10 minutes to decorate three Betty Crocker cupcakes that reflect their creative food talents and personality.
Presiding over the formalities will be a formidable panel of Brisbane’s most experienced Cupcake Critics: Brisbane chef and Gourmet Garden Ambassador Dominique Rizzo, Triple M token breakfast chick Emily Jade O’Keeffe, food critic and food journalist Lizzie Loel, Sunbeam's Home Economist Angela Muscat, and me.
I'm so looking forward to seeing this trio sweat over cupcake decoration. This is a cupcake moment that will definitely be worth the calories!
