Regional flavours at Southbank

This year's Regional Flavours event at South Bank is shaping up to be fabulous combination of food pleasures including 100 food stalls, Queensland wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, sustainable gardening practices and cooking competitions with an extended two-day program over Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July.

There's a great line up of chefs including Ben O’Donoghue, Dominique Rizzo, Junior MasterChef 2010 Twins Isabella and Sofia and former MasterChef Contestants who will conduct cooking demonstrations, showcasing Queensland produce.

The offerings include a hands-on sustainable garden complete with chickens, recyclable seating, compost bins, edible plants and Q&A sessions with television personality and horticulturalist Jody Rigby and Gardening Australia’s Jerry Coleby-Williams; as well as wine and beer appreciation sessions and a design exhibition featuring installations on sustainability.

Here's what happened last year -
