I went to Qld's first Nespresso Boutique and this is what I saw

Brisbane coffee connoisseurs can now indulge in a new Nespresso experience with the opening of the lush new Nespresso Boutique in Queens Plaza, Brisbane CBD.

It's a coffee lover's dream with a wall of Nespresso machines, a coffee room where you can discover different Nespresso flavours, and advice for Nespresso club members on coffee and food matching.

The Nespresso story began with a simple but revolutionary idea: enable anyone to create the perfect cup of espresso coffee – just like a skilled barista. An unrelenting focus on innovation and R&D led to the invention of unique technology that delivers a balance between the right water temperature, quantity and speed, along with 19 bars of pressure creating the perfect cup every time.

I enjoy going out for a coffee, but it looks so easy I am tempted to have one of these stylish machines at home, even if they don't come with George Clooney. I also like the design of the coffee cups - again simple and stylish.

Don't know how the Nespresso system works?  Voila - here's a little demo from one of their very capable sales assistants.

Nespresso is heavily into recycling and you can bring your capsules back to the shop and drop them in a bin or use them to make art like this example below.

The kind people at Nespresso gave me two cups from their Pixie collection when I attended the media launch. I'm not a short black drinker so I'll be giving them away through my newsletter.  For a chance to win them, subscribe to my newsletter here
