Well hello Night Noodle Markets and more - Good Food Month launches in Brisbane

You're going to need to pull out the stretchy pants or up the exercise because July is going to be a month full of temptation for foodies in Brisbane.

Good Food Month is month long feast of activities that will see you eating way more than you should and loving every mouthful.

Brisbane's restaurants and cafes have done their best to come up with an amazing selection of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, drinks, classes, discovers and sweet delights.

There are many highlights but here's some that you won't want to miss -

Night Noodle Markets

South Bank's Cultural Forecourt will be taken over for 11 nights of noodle mayhem. Expect  steaming pho, sizzling sticks, tender dumplings and much more from July 17 to 27.

Street Food Cooking Class

You know you want to make it - that delicious stuff that you see on every street corner when you travel. Well the folk at Cotah (College of Tourism and Hospitality) will show you how.  It's on July 9, 9am to 3pm and costs $135.

Bohemian Rhapsody at Hobohemia Antiques

This is not a retro Queen (music band not the grey-haired shelia) event but a joint effort from the Hobos from Kettle & Tin joining with the bohemians from Hobohemia to create what they are calling a 'rhapsody of food and drink' with five tastes of street food from Asia to Central America!  Has to be experienced, don't you think?  Find it a 285 Given Terrace, Paddington on July 29 6.30pm to 9.30pm for $75 including a cocktail on arrival.

Ultimate High Tea at Dello Mano

Be still my beating heart - a high tea from Dello Mano is not something to miss.  They are starting with savouries including basil and tomato tartlets but I'm thinking that this is just a cover for the delicious chocolate decadence that has earned them a place in so many hearts.  It's on July 13 from 1pm to 3pm at 29 Doggett Street, Teneriffe.

Public goes Paleo

Let your inner caveman out for this night where you can enjoy a five course banquet from chef Damon Amos with paleo friendly drinks.  There's a Tanqueray cocktail on arrival too. It's on July 16, 7pm to 10.30pm and the cost is $150.

Find all the details in the Good Food Month  progam.
