It can get a little expensive if you spend your whole holiday eating out in Noosa and with much local accommodation including kitchen facilities, it just makes sense to self cater a bit.
But you are in holiday mode and you don't want to go into a supermarket, right?
Trundle down to the latest addition to Hastings Street, Belmondos to go, and you'll find everything you need for a light and easy meal. It's in the National Park end of Hastings Street, not far from Massimo's Gelateria.
The fruit looks fabulously fresh and labelled local. There's a large cold cabinet filled with other goodies, plus breads and biscuits, cakes and slices. You could shop here for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and probably dinner as well if you were going low key. There are take away rolls as well and a catering menu if you'd like to plan some meals ahead.
Belmondos have another, much larger Fresh Food Market at 59 Rene Street, Noosaville. It's packed to the rafters with delectable stuff. There's also great locally roasted Clandestino coffee
Bottom line: Save yourself money and enjoy beautiful fresh produce from Belmondos.
Best tip: Enjoy the premium local fruit.
