Noosa scores in Gourmet Traveller regional food awards

Noosa, long known as a foodie destination with its choice of great eateries and home to the Noosa International Food & Wine Festival, has scored five of the top 10 regional Queensland restaurants in the 2013 Australian Gourmet Traveller's annual restaurant awards.

Wasabi, Ricky's River Bar + Restaurant, Thomas Corner Eatery, Berardo's and Embassy XO were all included in the top 10 regional Queensland Restaurants.

The award-winning restaurants are located throughout the Noosa region - berardo's restaurant & bar on Hastings Street, Wasabi and Rickys Bar + Restaurant at Quamby Place on Noosa Sound, Thomas Corner Eatery at Noosaville and Embassy XO at Sunshine Beach.

In addition to Noosa being in the spotlight with the awards, another Sunshine Coast restaurant, The Long Apron in Montville was also recognised in the top regional Queensland restaurants.
