Win 40 macarons delivered to your door!

There's exciting news for macaron lovers.

You no longer have a leave home to find your favourite macarons - you can have them delivered to your door.

Yes, I can see you all swooning with delight.  I certainly did when John Sheehan turned up at my door with a box full of their best flavours. Sorry John, but it was the macarons that did it. :)

Marché du Macaron is Brisbane's first retailer specialising exclusively in handmade macarons.  It's the brainchild of John Sheehan and Trish Hollomby who is the one in the kitchen baking up the goodies.
The idea came to John on a recent trip to Paris and has morphed in this new dessert darling delivery service.

The flavours include salted caramel, lavender and chocolate, pistachio, vanilla bean and mixed berry, all sandwiched together with gooey ganache fillings. My fave is lavender and chocolate.

And if you are excited by that - how about the Christmas flavours - Egg Nog, Rum Ball, Cranberry & Honeycomb and Panforte and they are all gluten free!

You can order the macarons online or call 0416 413 388

UPDATE - The competition for flavour suggestions has now closed but you can vote for my five top flavours on Facebook until Tuesday Dec 20, 5pm EST.

UPDATE UPDATE - Theresa Davis of New Farm won the macarons.  Congratulations Theresa and thank you to Marche du Macaron for making it all possible.

WIN WIN WIN
Here's how to win 40 macarons delivered to your door - note - you must be in the Brisbane area.

1. Leave a comment below with answer to this question -What Christmas flavour would you like to see Marché turn in to a macaron?
2. Email me with your suggestion as well (so I can contact you when you win!)
3. Like Marche du macaron

I'm looking for a flavour that really sings. I have one set of 40 macarons to give away to the person who suggests the winning flavour.

LAST deliveries for Christmas Day and Boxing Day macarons are 5pm December 24!

The competition closes at 5pm EST Friday December 16.

Green and red seems to be the traditional Christmas colours! For my Christmas macarons, I want it to be a peppermint shell with a red velvet filling! Hope the two combination will turn out well! :D

Marche du macaron should embrace the Australian Christmas and make a selection of stone fruit macarons. Peach would be particularly delicious!

I've had another thought - a midnight epiphany. I was considering making my first ever batch and wondered what would signify 'me' and Christmas. A rhubarb and ginger macaron. Mmm!
