But the Chalk Hotel is celebrating their win last week at the AHA National Awards for the Best Marketed Hotel in Australia with a seven course banquet for $20 in Sticks Restaurant.
It's available Wednesday to Friday – lunch and dinner with a four person minimum booking for September and October. The menu includes Cheesy garlic bread, soup of the day, curry of the day, beef short ribs with smokey BBQ sauce, salt and pepper calamari, pasta of the day, fruit salad with ice cream. And they say the produce used is quality.
Got to say that it doesn't sound particularly inspiring to me but then I'm more used to paying $20+ for one course, not seven. Try it out and report back here!
