I went to the Stones Corner Market and this is what I saw

The indomitable Jan Power has branched out yet again bringing a new market to the top end of Logan Road, where Old Cleveland Road joins, running down the street which is closed for the morning.

The Stones Corner Market is held on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, complimenting the Powerhouse market on the Saturday, starting at 6am and finishing at noon.

This market has many stallholders who also frequent the Powerhouse market and a large number of fruit and veg suppliers. Certainly a good spot if you need to stock up on these items.

There's plenty of shade with large umbrellas positioned in the street and there's a bit of seating on offer in cafes and on the footpath.

I saw a great range of quality produce and came home with stoneground organic sourdough bread, a Christmas pudding and cake, cherries, locally smoked chorizo and bacon, smoked salmon with dill and a desire to go back and purchase much more.
